Eligibility for CID:

Education:Completed any degree with recognized university.

Age 20-27...years

eye sight:
6/6 one 6/9 another side

physical
chest 76cms.
height 165cms........men
height 155cms......women

you will need appear to SSC or upsc exams..........

Dear friend,

For joining CBI, you will have to appear for SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination.

Recently, SSC CGL Exam was conducted on 14 April and 21 April 2013.

Education Qualification:
To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible for this examination.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2013) for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI:

20-27 years (He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1986 and not later than 01.01.1993)

Physical Standards:

For the post of Sub-Inspector in C.B.I. :
a) Height
For men - 165 cms.
For women - 150 cms.
Height relaxable for Hillsmen and Tribals : 5 cms.

b) Chest :
76 cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)

c) Vision :
Eye-sight (with or without glasses)
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8

Application Details
Candidate has to type the application given in the advertisement on a A4 size paper. That application is send at the respective address.

CID is Criminal Investigation Department. CID is crime detection agency works under government of India.

-To join CID, you have to appear in Civil Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) of India.

Well there are mainly two post in CID:-

*Constable

*Sub Inspector
(considered as Officer)



Qualification required to join CID:

~For Constable, You should have passed 12th in any stream from recognized school.

~For Sub-Inspector, You should have passed Graduation course from recognized Institute.



Age limit for CID:-

~Your Age should be between 20 years to 27 (relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).



Physical standard for CID:

~Minimum Height- 165 cms
&
~Minimum chest 76 cms

Regarding the physical standards in CID, Your height should be greater than 165cmsand chest should be greater than 76cms.
The body mass index should be average.
For those students who know law, there is a special branch of criminology available.

CID means Crime Investigation Department which comes under the government of India.It investigates the criminal cases in the country.

The candidates must write the UPSC exams which are every year.There are two types of posts under CID,they are:

1.Constable post.
2.Sub Inspector post and higher officer posts.

The Eligibility details of the constable post are as follows:

* Candidates must have completed 10th or 12th with atleast 55% to 60% of marks.

* Must have 18 years of Age.

* Maximum 30 years of age for General category students.

* Age relaxation is provided for Reserved categories.

* 5 years for SC/ST categories.

* 3 years for OBC categories.

* 10 years for PH categories.

The above mentioned are the eligibility details of Constable post.

The Eligibility details of the SUB-Inspector post are as follows:

* Candidates must have completed graduation from any reconized university.

* Must have 21 years of Age.

* Maximum 30 years of age for General category students.

* Age relaxation is provided for Reserved categories.

* 5 years for SC/ST categories.

* 3 years for OBC categories.

* 10 years for PH categories.

The above mentioned are the eligibility details of Sub Inspector exam.

There are three exams conducted.They are:
1. Written test.
2. Physical test.
3. Interview.

The above mentioned are the details of the posts in Crime Investigation Department.

PREREQUISITES
- U.S. citizenship
- Minimum age of 21
- Maximum grade of SGT. SSG (with one year or less time in grade) may apply with waiver (*See below)
- Minimum of 2 years of military service and maximum of 10 years of military service
- Minimum of 60 college semester hours from an accredited institution (Up to 30 hours may be waived)
- Minimum ST score of 107 or higher and GT score of 110 or higher
- Consistently meet the height and weight standards prescribed in AR 600-9 and consistently pass the Army Physical Fitness Test
- Physical profile 111221 or better and ability to deploy worldwide
- Normal color vision (waiverable if applicant can distinguish between green, red and amber)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and favorable driving record
- Ability to speak and write clearly
- Minimum of one year of military police experience or two years civilian police experience (May be waived)

*NOTE: SSGs (with one year or less time in grade) may apply for law enforcement experience or education waivers ONLY in combination with grade waiver.

i m just in standard 9th STANDARD AND I M INTERESTED IN BECOMING CID OFFICER SO CAN U PLZ TELL ME THE SUBJECTS THAT ARE IMP. AND SHOUL BE MORE FOCUSED??
