How to join CBI or CID? Qualifications required to join? From where to get the forms?

what is the qualification required in CID and another requiredment ??? ( parveen)

nw im 15years old...my aim is cid....bt i don't knw which sub are need 4 this profession

There are two options for you to join CBI and CID either through Civil Services examination or Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level examination. For Sub Inspector posts in CBI or CID, eligibility criteria is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

The age limit for Sub Inspector post is 20-30 years upper age relaxed for candidates of reserved category. For Civil Services examination, graduation is minimum academic qualification and age limit is 21-32 years. You can crack any exam to enter into CBI or CID.

CID(Crime Investigation Department) and CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation)both are government sector services. Both the departments serves the country by handling criminal investigation. Both the departments investigate the complex cases under the government of India.
The eligibility criteria for both the departments are as follows:

1. The candidate should have the bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
2. The candidate should be Indian.
3. Age of candidate should be in between 21 to 30 years old.
4. Height required for men is 163 metres.
Height required for women is 152 metres.
5. Candidate must go through the entrance exam conducted by UPSC.
6. Exam includes written test, physical test and interview.
