Eligibility for Sub Inspector:

Candidates must have passed at least bachelor degree in any discipline from the recognized university are eligible to apply for Sub Inspector exam.

Candidates should have citizenship of India however, a subject of Nepal or
a subject of Bhutan are also applicable.

Age Limit:

Minimum age should be at least 20 years and it should not exist 25 years for the post of Sub-Inspector in CPOs and ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector).

Minimum age should be at least 20 years and maximum should be 27 years for the post of Intelligence Officer in NCB.

Age relaxation for OBC category up to 3 years. And for SC/ST category up to 5 years.

For Ex-Servicemen (OBC), it is up to 8 years and for Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) up to 10 years on upper age.
