What qualification is needed to become B.D.O? Please answer

1. BDO stands for Block Development Officer.For becoming BDO you must pass State Civil Service competitive examination conducted at the state level government.

Eligibility :
1. All graduates between the age groups of 21 and 28 are eligible to take this examination.
2. There are relaxations in upper age limit to the scheduled castes/scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen, physically handicapped and the employees of the State Government. Even though the examination is conducted as an all-India competition but during the interview it is desirable for the candidates to know the language, culture, and customs of the concerned State.

BDO is Block Development Officer
BDO is the official incharge of a block
Block Development Officers monitor the implementation of all the programs related to planning and development of the blocks.

BDO is also associated in Coordination of development and implementation of plans amongst more than one block is provided by a Chief Development Officer (CDO)

For appearing for BDO, you should have a bachelors degree from recognized college/institute with atleast 60% marks in your graduation ( for general) and 50% in case of SC/ST
your age should be 21-30
relaxation of 5 year for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC as per reservation norms

How should be qualified the intress exam of BDO?

BDO stands for Block Development Officer.

The recruitment for the post of BDO is made by the State Public Service Commission .

The candidate who wishes to become a BDO has to clear the exam conducted by the State Public Service Commission .

The eligibility criteria required for a BDO are following :-

-The candidate must have passed graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university of that State .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is from 21 years to 35 years .There is relaxation in upper age limit provided to the candidates of reserved categories as per the rules of the Govt.

Selection of candidate is made on the basis of written test and personal interview .
