How and what qualification is needed to john cbi?

The minimum eligibility to join CBI in the assistant grade is a bachelors degree from a recognised university.To join the CBI department, you will need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by the Staff selection commission every year.
The minimum eligible age, to write combined graduate level examination, is 20 years wheras, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
Height- 165 cms
Chest- 76 cms. with expansion
The examination comprises of two papers.
1. General intelligence & awareness
2. Arithmatic
The preliminary exam is is followed by the Main exam.
The Main exam comprise of
English language, Comprehension, Communication skill and writing ability ,Arithmetic and
General studies minimum qualification graduation is require to attain in the CBI officer exam.And minimum 60% marks in graduation is require to attain in the UPSC exam.
age limit for UPSC exam is 21-29 years.

The basic qualifications for CBI are:

1.The candidates should be graduate in any discipline.The candidate should have taken graduation from a recognised and reputed institution.
2.The candidates eligibility criteria will also vary according to the type of post for which one is applying to
3.candidate's age should be 20-27 years.
4.there is an age relaxation in case of the sc /st candidates which is 5 years and forobc candidates it is 3 years.
This is an All India Exam which is conducted every year mainly in November.
