PCS stands for Punjab Civil Services.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university then you are eligible for PCS exam. Final year student are eligible for PCS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 37 years for general candidates.

Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

The PCS selection process is consist in three way-

1)Preliminary exam(This exam is based on objective type question paper)
2)Main exam (This Exam is subjective type)
3)Inter view.

New pattern for PCS exam:-

i English Composition 25 Marks
ii General Science 25 Marks
iii Current events of National & International Importance 25 Marks
iv History of India 25 Marks
v Geography of India with special reference to West Bengal 25 Marks
vi Indian Polity and Economy 25 Marks
vii Indian National Movement 25 Marks
viii General Mental Ability 25 Marks

PCS officer exam are conducted by the various Public services commission in different state annually.

For apply PCS exam candidate must have to pass Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized University.

The minium qualification to apply this exam is Graduation degree from a recognized University.

The age limit for PCS exam is :-

The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years .

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years and

SC/ST category candidates 5 years age relaxation.
