What is the qualification required for IRDA surveyor licence exam? Can you please provide me the complete eligibility criteria which will be followed? Please let me know the details as soon as possible. Awaiting for the response soon.

you must possess anyone of the following to become an insurance surveyor

Fellowship or Associate ship of the Institute of Insurance Surveyors and Adjustors (IISA), Mumbai.
Fellowship or Associate ship of the Institute of Chartered accountants or Cost and Works Accountants.
A degree or diploma in architecture from a recognized university or institute.
A degree or diploma from a recognized institute of engineering.
A degree or diploma in Naval Architecture.

IRDA stands for Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India .

Qualification required for holding IRDA surveyor licence, one should possess any one of the following :

Fellowship or Associate ship of the Institute of Insurance Surveyors and Adjustors (IISA), Mumbai.

Fellowship or Associate ship of the Institute of Chartered accountants or Cost and Works Accountants.

A degree or diploma in architecture from a recognized university or institute.

A degree or diploma from a recognized institute of engineering.

A degree or diploma in Naval Architecture.

Educational Qualification Required for IRDA Surveyor Exam : A candidate should have minimum qualification of a pass in 12th standard in case of urban areas and 10th Standard in case of rural areas if the population is less than 5000.

Age : Minimum age required is 21 years

Pattern of Exam :

1- The Test contains 50 Multiple Choice Questions & each question carries one mark..
2- Duration of exam : One Hour
3- There is Negative Marks for wrong answers.
4- Minimum 35% Marks is required to qualify.
