What is the role and duty of sub inspector(communications),andhra pradesh?

Basically a Sub Inspector is responsible to investigate properly any crime occurring in his area and to obtain information during investigation.
He has to perform duties of preventing occurrence of type of crime and to take necessary action in accordance with law.

After getting an order or guidance from his higher officers for taking action against the offenders of crime and to perform Petrol Duty, Night Round Duty, Parade and other duties as per the orders of the higher authorities.

Also he has to be a part of government schemes and program like Election Duty, and to send annual report to the respective department.

What is the basic difference between normal sub inspector and sub inspector communication?
