whats the scope in biotechnology after msc in biotechnology.....? whats the paccage? n what type of job in this field?

i am completed my b.tech in biotechnology this year...now i m working in medical devices company as a designation of chemist..but sir i m confused pls to give me a suggestion..my future is bright in this line or not..pls suggest to me for post graduation related to this feild....

I am doing B.Sc in biotech and this is my first year,i am a bit confused now about the scope of this field in India.Does this field have a wide scope in India? And the jobs offered would be in which all firms? Can you please solve my query.

Dont expect jobs and package like in IT sector this is Biotech and it is purely a research field.you should start for preparing CSIR-NET JRF that will be the safest side as you can join research with fellowship(16,000+HRA).Than later on you can search for job but never do the mistake of expecting a good job after MSc biotech(if campus placement is there then its ok).
you can also choose a company to do your masters thesis this will help u in finding a job in industries and yes be prepared to do research and if you are not interested in Research then be look for alternatives from now itself like IPR etc.
I am MSc Biotech from IIT and had cleared NET even then i faced very tough time for jobs and just bcz I didnt think about alternatives earlier.I am in IPR now.

The scope of Biotechnology in India is very less as it is purely a research field & you must have to do MS from foreign university only then only you can get a good salary in this field.
But in abroad it has a very good demand.So if you are willing to go abroad then only you can choose it as a career otherwise it is advisable to you to opt some different field after Bsc.
