One can pursue M.Tech degree after the course. Selection will be done on the basis of GATE score. MBA degree in streams like Operations, IT, etc will be better for you. You can also try for jobs in firms like L & T, BHEL, ECIL, NTPC, etc.

INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES-
Qualifying IES exam will help you to get in to reputed job roles under central government.

After completing B.tech there are many options for you,you can go for M.tech,MBA etc.For giving M.tech you can try for GATE exam and for MBA you can try for CAT exam.These exams will help you in getting good colleges and good jobs.If you want to do job after B.tech then there are many companies which want candidates who had done B.tech but there packages in companies are not so good as who had done masters.So for good package and good company you should try for M.tech or MBA.

After passing B.Tech you can apply for many govt. job like:-
> I.A.S
> I.P.S
> Indian Railways
> ARMY
> Central Police Force
> NAVY
> AIR FORCE
> D.R.D.O
> I.S.R.O
> B.S.N.L
> O.N.G.C
etc

You can also join companies like;-
> H.C.L
> H.P
> SONY
> DEL
etc
