If you want to earn a lot money in future then you should think upon Masters in good Institute this will enhance your career opportunities and your earning potential. This is a good time to job market all the fields like IT , Infra , Construction , Banking , Telecom , Real Market all these fields are at their full space . You can get a job very easily now . So Its not the matter of getting a job now . The Decision by you should be based upon future goals it should make your path clear to reach the target. If you want to do research and get full name and fame then going with M.Tech and then Research Ph.D is a very good way to reach your path. Or if you just want to earn you can take up M.B.A because the Management students are paid very high in all the M.N.C's So taking up management career will increase your earning potential. Or if you want to simultaneously earn while learning seek some Online part time jobs so that both your desires will be satisfied . But it will a bit risky if you doesn't concentrate on any one thing then it will be a big problem. So think up on your decision .Remember one thing your decision should be in such a way that you should feel proud about the decision what you have made . Rather than feeling the negative effects of the decision what you have made. This is all about your question Think twice Act wise Regards ~AdityA~ |

Re: What should I do after completing my B.Tech? Should I go for a job if I am interested in further studies?
My suggestion is to go for higher studies.
Why because, when once you join a job, it is somewhat difficult to improve your qualifications further due to time constraint etc., Please don't think that Iam degrading you. Better go for Management Education from any one of the Top 25 Rated Colleges in India. Of course, to get a seat in these colleges is not that easy, unless you have determination. So better take coaching from any Good Institute and have a planned schedule to crack the examinations like CAT, XLRI, SNAP, NMAT etc., If you comeout with flying colours in any of these examinations and step into a Good College, you need not worry about your future which will be taken care of on its own. Another avenue is doing M.Tech., from any of the IITs, IISc, IIITs (based on a good rank in GATE), continue Ph.D. also in IITs and jump into Lecturing Profession which is a lucrative one. So all the best for your delightful future. |

JOB or STUDIES Every student finishing his/her B.Tech course come across this controversial decision to take, which is really confusing..even am in the same position... -> I just want to give 3 key reason for either going for JOB or STUDIES, just try to match up your needs with it and go for the one which you desire.. Go for JOB because... -> You can earn money soon if you are not able to go with your finance in home. -> You can very well do your PG course after 2-3 experience which is very much needed in the corporate world. -> You will gain a clear knowledge of what to do in your future either to move on with work or go for some learning in your field which is more advantageous than taking some PG course after B.Tech.. Go for STUDIES because... -> Once you go for job, mind will lose the atmosphere of studying which means coming again to college.. -> Gain more technical knowledge before going in to the corporate world which needs only a less time for training.. -> If you go for MBA then you will be sound in both technical and management skills. -> These are some of the key reasons why you can go for JOB or STUDIES... -> Just try to match your needs with the above points, and go for the one which satisfies your need.. -> Very important key thing is go for the one which you are interested in and am sure you will have a bright future.. |

Re: What should I do after completing my B.Tech? Should I go for a job if I am interested in further studies?
If you are really interested in higher studies, then there is no point of wasting 1-2 year in job, it wont help you much instead would divert you from studies & also you wont be getting much time for simultaneous studies.
Higher Study Options: Mtech/MS for Specialisation To do Mtech , you can appear for GATE exam for admission in IIsc or IIT, but you can do Mtech from other universities also like BITS, DCE etc. GRE exam is for admission in foreign universities, you will get college depending upon you marks in gre & projects done during your Btech. Recommendation letter can further help you in getting top university. You can further pursue studies by doing Phd which would take atleast 3-4 yrs. After that you can join as lecturer or as researcher, there are very good incentive in teaching as well as in research now a days. More important is peaceful life which you will enjoy in this profession. Management : Many popular management exams are conducted like GMAT, CAT, IIT JMAT etc for which eligibility is graduation. You can do MBA from IIMs, IIPM, ISB or from foreign universities, Itlay and US are very popular among MBA students. Job prospectus will be very good. |

if you have an opportunity to do a job in some good company, then pick that one, and join it for a year. And beside this you prepare for GATE exam, and after scoring good marks, drop the job, and do join some good college. BY doing this you can get better job opportunities in future.,

Hello,
If you want to continue both study as well as job, then distance learning will be best option for you. You can apply for a job in company, and continue your study, weather you will opt MBA(specialised), or some of the institutes offers M.tech as distance learning course. Although if you prepared for GATE(graduation aptitude test for engineering) you will have good chance to complete your master degree from an reputed institute, and you may have better chance for placement. After all choice is yours. Ok, best of luck. |

If you are interested in further studies, you should go with it.
With higher degree you will get more job opportunities with higher salary. If you want to earn while studying you can do any part time job or you can organise tutions also. But dont run behind a small fish, study further get your masters degree and hen catch the big one. All the best. |

Re: What should I do after completing my B.Tech? Should I go for a job if I am interested in further studies?
What is need of doing job if you are inerested in furthur studies provided you are getting support from family. You should continue your studies as this is the only time to attain furthur education and the the whole life is there to utilize your skills. Definetly you will get much better job after completing M-Tech. You may also think of MBA because this will is also best for your career. You can appear in CAT/MAT management entrance examination to get a reputed collage.
You should not think of job unless someone is there who is expecting financial help from you, as in many cases students are eager to do job just after completing thier studies. If you are currently working in MNC or other reputed firms than you may also do MBA from distance learning mode so that you can continue your studies along with job. |

Re: What should I do after completing my B.Tech? Should I go for a job if I am interested in further studies?
Hi
One thing is certain that you want to go for higher studies. Now weather to join job or go for higher studies depends on your choice of higher studies. If you want to go for M.Tech, then going for job would make your b.tech knowledge weak. Its advisable to go for GATE as soon as possible as you have things fresh in your mind. As we start earning, its difficult to prepare for technical subjects. If you delay you many have to put enormous effort to revise things. If you want to go for M.B.A then 1-2 year of work is advisable because - having work ex increase your chance of getting into Management school - also having work ex help you understand the MBA better all the best |
