Re: What should I do after taking up psychology? I am a BDS graduate
No, you cannot study Graduation in Psychology while doing BDS.
For graduation course the candidate should have done their 10+2 in any discipline with a fair percentage from any recognised board. You can study Masters in psychology or you can even study based on the 10+2 education. You can study graduation in psychology through correspondence there are few colleges which provide psychology course through correspondence but you can study only on the basis of 10+2 education not on basis of BDS. |

Re: What should I do after taking up psychology? I am a BDS graduate
You can pursue MSc Psychology and become a psychologist. However you cannot prescribe scheduled drugs as a psychologist. Your line of work will be in counselling and therapy.
In Delhi, Masters in Psychology (MA Psychology/ Applied Psychology) is offered by (i) Lady Shri Ram College for Women (http://lsrcollege.org/index.asp) (ii) Indraprastha College for Women (http://www.ipcollege.com/) (iii) Jamia Millia Islamia (http://www.jmi.nic.in/) (iv) University of Delhi (http://www.du.ac.in/index.html). The eligibility criteria is "graduate" and therefore you are eligible to apply for this course. You can take further details from the websites given. All the Best! |
