what should i do to join cbi of India?i have completed my ug course in B.sc IT.please guide me.

Hi friend.............

I can give the eligibility and also exams of CBI officer...........

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

To join in CBI you need to appear for SSC exam.

SSC stands for Staff for Selection Commission.

To apply for this exam you need to be a Graduate from recognized university.

Your age need to be between 20-27 years.

The exam is held in 2 stages:-

General Awareness/General Ability ,

Arithmetic.

Qualifying Exam

Candidates who wish to join the CBI must write the Union Public Service Commission Examination. Those candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification :-

You must be Graduation courses in Criminology For making Yourself Eligible For CBI.

For Graduation in Criminology in Different University in India you must be 12th passed.

Syllabus: Course of Criminology includes mainly- Principles of criminology, criminal Law,Psychology of Crime, Police Administration, Forensic Science and Medicine, Juvenile Delinquency, Correctional Management and Rehabilitation of Criminals etc.

CBI stands for Crime Branch Investigation

A candidate ho are aspiring to join CBI branch must have to apply for SSC (Selection staff Commission) examination......

>> For applying SSC Examination a candidate must have completed their Graduation degree in any stream from Recognized Universities.....

>> Age of candidate should be between 20 to 28 years....

>> Age relaxation is provided for Reserved category.....

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC (Staff selection commission)board every year.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Graduation in any discipline

AGE LIMIT : 20 - 27 years
Upper age relaxation will applicable SC/ST candidates for 5 years and OBC candidates for 3 years
Eye sight:
6/6 one 6/9 another side

Physical:

For joining CBI, you will have to appear for SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination.

As you have completed B.Sc (IT), so your Educational Qualifications satisfy the Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Exam.

But ensure that your Physical Standards meet the minimum requirements for SSC CGL Exam.

Just before few days, SSC CGL Exam was conducted on 14 April and 21 April 2013.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2013) for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI:

20-27 years (He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1986 and not later than 01.01.1993)

Physical Standards:

For the post of Sub-Inspector in C.B.I. :
a) Height
For men - 165 cms.
For women - 150 cms.
Height relaxable for Hillsmen and Tribals : 5 cms.

b) Chest :
76 cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)

c) Vision :
Eye-sight (with or without glasses)
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8
