i have completed bsc biotechnology. i will join cid or cbi department..

Please tell me the procedure

CID or such investigation org's are Govt run , you first either have to apply for forensic dept or appear for multiple exams in respective fields such as Bomb experts, IT experts etc in all such fields performance has to be above expectation and without any errors!

Anyways if your focused you can achieve anything... Best of luck!!

CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) :For joining CBI,You need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Eligibility Criteria:-
QUALIFICATION: The minimum Qualification needed to sit in this exam is to be Graduate enough in any Discipline.

AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age. & special Relaxation is given to SC/ST which is 5 years and For OBC 3 years.

How to join CID or CBI department after completing BSc Biotechnology?

To apply for the CBI or CID you have to apply for the
SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination this examination
is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The SSC
examination is condcuted once in a year for the selection of
candidates in Assistants, Inspectors and Sub- Inspectors, Divisional
Accountants, Junior Accountants,Central Vigilance Commission,
Central Excise, Income Tax, CBI, Central Police Organizations etc.

Eligibility for CGPE

To apply for the SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination
you should be graduate in any discipline. So after the completion
of your graduation you can apply for this examination.

AGE LIMIT
For the CBI your age should be between 20 to 27 years.
There is relaxation in age for the reserved category
candidates Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes etc.

CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) or CID (Central Investigation Department) examinations is conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection Commission).

CBI / CID posts are:-

1. Sub-Inspector,
2. Assistant Public Prosecutor and
3. Senior Public Prosecutor.

Eligibility for CBI / CID examinations: -

1. For Sub Inspector = Pass graduation in any subject from a regonised institute / university.

a. Age = 18 Years to 25 Years
b. Height = minimum 5’ 6″
c. Chest = 32′ (Normal) and after expanding 34'

2. For Assistant Public Prosecutor = Pass LL.B.(Law) from a regonised institute / university with minimum 5 years of experience.

a. Age = 18 Years to 25 Years
b. Height = minimum 5’ 6″
c. Chest = 32′ (Normal) and after expanding 34'

3. For Senior Public Prosecutor = Pass graduation in LAW from a regonised institute / university with minimum 10 years of experience.
