You can do your research or doctoral studies in Archealogy.

Or else you could apply as intern to any IIT or NIT professors so that you could get a good stipend amount as well as you can learn by doing. Also you'll get a chance of recommendation for doctoral studies.

Or you may write the NET(National Eligibility Test) so that you could get JRF (Junior research fellow) in organisations or institutions of national importance.

After your Master degree you can go for internship or can work as a volunteer which is available through filed schools, museums, government agencies, and archaeological associations. You need to contact any of them and work under any filed to gain experience and after gaining experience you will be able to work as a archaeologist in your upcoming future.

1. UG:

Those who want to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology should have studied history as a subject in 10+2.

2. PG:

For degree or post graduate diploma courses in archaeology one should have completed his graduation in any discipline

3. And at the post Graduation level it is offering .. more than 25 universities across the Country...(in a PG level you should have completed diploma in Archaeology)

4. And the selection process is based on the Entrance test.
