What should I study to become an Archaeologist?
Please tell me that what should i have to study after completing my master degree in history to become an archaeologist?

After your Master degree you can go for internship or can work as a volunteer which is available through filed schools, museums, government agencies, and archaeological associations. You need to contact any of them and work under any filed to gain experience and after gaining experience you will be able to work as a archaeologist in your upcoming future.

To become an Archaeologist ... 1. UG: Those who want to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology should have studied history as a subject in 10+2. 2. PG: For degree or post graduate diploma courses in archaeology one should have completed his graduation in any discipline 3. And at the post Graduation level it is offering .. more than 25 universities across the Country...(in a PG level you should have completed diploma in Archaeology) 4. And the selection process is based on the Entrance test. THANK YOU |

You are eligible to become a Archaelogist.You can apply for M.Phil In Archaelogy after completion of Master In History.
Courses In Archaeologist - B.A In Archaeology - M.A In Archaeology - M.Phil In Archaelogy Eligibility B.A In Archaelogy - One should have Qualification of (10+2) in arts stream from recognized board. M.A In Archaeology One must have graduation In History OR B.A(Archaeology) with atleast 55% from recognized university. M.Phill In Archaelogy - One must have Master Degree In History OR M.A In Archaeology from recognized university. After completing your graduation, you should apply for masters’ in Deccan College at Pune or MS University at Baroda. In India these are the best colleges for archaeologist .
For abroad, you can appear for the GRE exam to get scholarship for a reputed university |
