What is the source of energy generation in a.c. Genrator?

Generator is a device which converts the mechanical energy into the electrical energy.

It works on the principle of the emf induced in a coil when magnetic flux linked with coil changes with the time or on the basis of electromagnetic induction.

The main parts of the AC Generator is :-
* Armature.
* Strong Magnetic Field.
* Slip Ring.
* Carbon brush.

Working :- When armature rotates between the two magnetic poles the magnetic flux linked with the coil changes periodically with time. Therefore the alternating EMF induced produced in the coil and alternating current flow through the load resistance.
