Jobs or courses after B.Tech (Electrical) with 59% marks overall?
i would like to know the types of electrical engineering job that i will be able to get abte btech in eee.
or either tell any short term job oriented electrical courses that i can do.. i am asking this because i only have below 59% in btech (eee).. please help in finding a solution |

well buddy jobs of electrical engineers include
Power generation units like NTPC Maintenance jobs like with Powergrid coporation of India. Design jobs for setting up of new powerplants .BHEL Day to day power generation.Ntpc you can get jobs anywhere like Tata steel. where they work on powerplants of Hydrauic machinery to even the captive power plant. just to summarise Telecommunications Systems Electric Power Stations Wiring and lighting of houses Designing household appliances Electrically-controlled industrial machinery Communications Computers Electronics Robotics Biomedical electronics Signal processing Transportation Industrial process control Energy operation and distribution Electro-mechanical energy conversion. well you can apply for many jobs including PSU's and IES... or you can goto jin prevate sector power generation in India is on a boom... so its a very good sector for future growth and earning a handsome salary, as well as higher position. Register on job sites and participate in campus placement... do not forget to visit job fairs... some really good jobs are on offer. there are many courses and job opportunities...but u've to decide whether u wish to stay in IT field or industries side...if u wish to switch over to it field then u should have some knowledge on basics of computers and programming skills,problem solving techniques...

hi friend,
doing placement oriented courses is very nice. you being a students of electrical stream you have opportunities for jobs both in software industry and your core companies. to get placed in top software companies having certification in programming languages will be good. so i would suggest you to do courses on Java, .Net, DB2, SQL, Web designing etc. you can also do networking and hardware related courses. to get placed in core companies find the core work area of the company and do courses according to that all the best

As you told me your B.tech aggregate percentage is not above 60 percent till now so first of all you try to improve your aggregate percent above 60 then only you can apply in any PSU company otherwise you will not get a better job because private core company and software companies also demanded above 60 percent.
List of PSU companies are as follows:- BHEL BEL ONGC NTPC ISRO DRDO Indian Railway IES etc. |

after complete your degree in Electrical engineering then you go for higher study or job if you go for higher study then you go for M.TECH or some course then depends on you, you want course on your branch or course on software field if on your branch then you go course for Power electrical Electric drives if course on software field then you go for JAVA .NET if go for jobs then you go for NTPC BHEL NALCO NHPCL OPTCL etc.......... |

there are plenty of jobs avialable after b.tech in electrical and they include jobs in govt. as well as pvt. sector .for govt. sector you may sit for ntpc,pgcil etc. though you may also see the eligibility criteria first.also there are a lot of jobs in pvt. sector in tata power,reliance energy,essar power etc.so prepare well!
