What specialization should I choose for MBA after completing B.Tech in CSE/IT?


hi sir/mam
Neeraj this side ...completed B-tech in computer science/IT.
want to do MBA..
but i m little bit of confuse. what specialisation should i choose for my bright future.
please give me suggesion on [email protected]

All the specialisations in MBA offer good scope. You need to choose the best one suiting your skills and strengths. Since you have an IT background you can choose systems to stay in the same stream. Even if you choose HR you can probably join the HR division of an IT firm. Even marketing is option available as this area now forms an important department in the growth of a firm.

Hey friend,

Being a B.Tech Computer Science student you are eligible for joining in MBA course as you satisfy the education qualification needed for the exam.

There is no age limit for doing the course so you don't need to be bothering about it.

The education qualification needed is that the candidate must have completed a 3 year graduate course.

The specializations which you can choose for joining in MBA are:

> MBA in Engineering
> MBA in Entrepreneurship
> MBA in Executive
> MBA in Finance
> MBA in General management
> MBA in Global management
> MBA in Health Care

> MBA in Industrial management
> MBA in Information systems
> MBA in Knowledge management
> MBA in Leadership
> MBA in Marketing
> MBA in Media
> MBA in Nonprofit and Government
> MBA in Organizational
> MBA in Sport management
> MBA in Technology management
> MBA in Telecommunications

You also need to write the entrance exam for joining in MBA course in the respected colleges which is conducting the course.

There are various entrance exam which is conducted in India for candidates to write and apply for joining in MBA course.

These exams have negative marking and objective type question papers and there are eligibility criteria framed for the exams for applying.

Eligibility criteria for MBA:-

The eligibility criteria for one year full time MBA program is bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any discipline. Minimum Age limit is 27 yrs at the start of the course. Not too old GMAT score is also required.

For part time MBA program Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required. Diploma holders needs to have a minimum of 3 yrs of work experience. You have to sit for the entrance exam that test the analytical, verbal and numerical abilities of students.

For specialized MBA program bachelor's degree, work experience, entrance exam and GD, PI results are taken into consideration.

Doing MBA course after B.tech will ensure good job prospectus in both the engineering as well as management jobs . There are so many colleges are offers MBA course in our country . For Doing MBA course you should qualified in Bachelor degree in discipline from recognized university .

After completing B.tech course you may select the following MBA specialization like ,

>>> MBA in Finance
>>> MBA in Entrepreneurship
>>> MBA in HealthCare and Pharma
>>> MBA in Human Resource
>> MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management
>>> MBA in Information System and Technology

To get admission for MBA course you have to crack the Entrance examination like MAT / CAT / GMAT . You should score above 60% percentage of marks in your bachelor degree .

If you have completed your Bachalore degree courses then you are 100% eligible for the MBA courses,
The minimum eligibity required for the MBA programme is Graduation from any authorised university of India,The minimum required pecentage is only 50%,

You can take any of the following streams in MBA to make your life in particular directions,


Some of the Hot Trades under MBA courses are as below-->>

Human resourses,
Finance,
Telecommunications,
Marketting,
Hospitality,

But from my point of Telecome will be the best option if your bachalore degree certificate is of technical field.



It will help you very Much in future,Also this specialisation is very much related with your B.tech syllabus.Comapanies for the Telecom managements are listed as below-->>

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration. This is a 2 year Management related course being offered by number of colleges all over India.

The job opportunities and career scope for the candidates is very high after the completion of MBA course.

This is the reason why many of the candidates are showing interest to join MBA Course.

As you have completed B.Tech in CSE stream, if you want to have the same computer background or computer knowledge in your MBA also, you can opt for the following specializations in MBA course

MBA in Systems Management
MBA in Information Technology.

If you are not interested in this area, you can opt for any of the following specializations as per your interest

MBA in Finance
MBA in Operations Management
MBA in Logistics Management
MBA in Retail Management
MBA in Human Resource Management

Having decided to join MBA course, check yourself whether you meet the required eligibility criteria to join MBA course

You should have completed Graduation with any of the stream with minimum 50% of marks.

If you are a candidate from SC or ST category, you should score minimum 45% of marks in the Graduation.
