You need to first of all decide which course you would like to go for. Also which country you would like to pursue the course. Based on that you need to check out what is the eligibility criteria. Which is the exam you need to clear, the document required for the same. According prepare to appear for these exam and apply to institutes of your choice.

Hi,
I am Pratiksha Saini, WORKING as IOFS for MInistry Of Defence. Before this , i have been working as a Scientist for ISRO. I am a mechanical Engineer. I got 83% in graduation.
I know nothing about how to go for study in abroad.
But i desperately want to do it.Also, i will be appearing for GRE in Sept,2011.

to go to abroad for higher education,there are four important steps,first you need to write the entrance exam (like GRE,TOEFL,ILETS,,,GRE AND TOEFL are the most common entrance exam which most of people write)second thing is you have to choose universities in foreign countries third is when you are applying you have to attach three recommendation letter and statement of purpose with application forms and last step is you can start applying for particular university in which you are interested in.

you have not mention for what education peruse you want to go in the abroad.

that means whether you want to go for the under graduate course.

or Post graduate course.

if you want to do Under graduate course from the abroad then you have to get good percentile in the toefl exam.

through the toefl exam you can do under garduate course from foreign unversity.

but if you want to do Post gradute course from foreign university then you have to give GRE exam.
