My daughter is in 2nd standard in CBSE school. Her date of birth is 5.4.2012. Is she in right class and will she be allowed to write 10th standard CBSE exam? People say she lacks 5 days.

To appear in the CBSE Class 10th board examination, the age of candidate must be at least 14 years as on 1st October of that year in which the candidate will be admitted to his/her Class 10th.

So, being a student of Class 2nd now your daughter is likely to enter in her Class 10th 2026, and as per the above mentioned age criteria and her date of birth her age will be over 14 years as on 01.10.2026 and therefore she will be certainly eligible to appear in Class 10th board examination without any issues related to her age.
