IAS (Indian Administrative services) one of the most desired job. But to become IAS officer is not an easy task, you have to appear for the UPSC Civil service examination. Those who clear the Civil service examination along with Interview will become IAS officer.

As per your question you want to get the salary package/Pay scale of IAS officers, So I want to tell you that IAS officers have five scales namely the Junior Scale, Senior Scale, Junior Administrative Grade, Selection Grade and Super Time Scale.

After 6th pay commission, the total pay scale of an IAS officer can be roughly estimated as below:

1. For Junior Scale:
Pay Band Rs. 15,600 – Rs 39,100 Grade Pay Rs 5400/-

2. Senior Scales: The Senior Scales are further divided into 3 categories

~~ The Apex Pay Scale of Rs 80,000 (fixed) no Grade Pay
~~ Cabinet Secretary Grade of Rs 90,000 (fixed) no Grade Pay.

The IAS officers also get other benefits like HRA, DA, Pension, Official Accommodation, Bills, Government Cars, Office Vehicles, etc. But IAS officer expects hike in the salary structure after 7th Pay commission.
