NDA entrance limit is 14 1/2 to 17 1/2 years.

If u have missed the NDA entrance due to age restrictions, u can enter commissioned services through COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES after ur graduation.

As for NDA I 2012 you are Eligible. But You are not Eligible for NDA II 2012 because you will complete your 19 years before July.

If You have complete below mention criteria then you are eligible for NDA exam - 2012.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age limit- age of the candidate should be between 02/07/1993 to 01/01/1996 (only for unmarried male candidates)
Academic Qualification-
1. For army wing of NDA-12th passed from recognized board
2. Navel wing And Air Force- 12th passed with mathematics and physics organized by SEB.
3. Candidates who are going to appear in the 12th standers examination may also apply for the admission.

Candidates born on and after January 1993 were eligible for the NDA exam 2011. therefore, as per your date of birth, i guess, you are not eligible to apply for the upcoming NDA exam which is supposed to be conducted on 15th March 2012.
However, do refer to the notification which will be published on 31-12-2011.
The notification will be published on the official website of UPSC.

Generally, to be eligible for the NDA exam, one must have qualified +2 level of examination and must be within the age limit of 16 1/2 years - 19 years.

NDA (National Defence Academy) is one of the platforms through which you can express your indomitable spirit for your own country India.

Eligibility for Indian Army :
1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination.

2:Marital Status:Unmarried

3:Sex :Male.

4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19.

5:Nationality:
You have to be A citizen of India, or
subject of Bhutan, or

Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases :

i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).
ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality.
iii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB).

The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions.

i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event

After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection.

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.


Now a very good opportunity in front of you that the NDA exam 2011 is yet to held on 21st August, 2011 for admission to Indian Army,Indian Air Force and Indian Navy

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

For writing this exam the eligibility criteria which you need are:

> Candidate must be a citizen of India.

> Candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

> Candidate must strictly be a unmarried male candidate.

> Candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized board of school education to be eligible for the NDA exam.

> Candidates should surely be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam as it is important regarding the physical standard.

As you have not mentioned your qualification,check at the above criteria and check whether you satisfy all the criteria's so that you can apply for the NDA exam.

As per your date of birth,you are eligible for appear in this examination, Conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION[UPSC].Through this NDA [NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY] examination, one can apply for the NAVAL FORCE, AIR FORCE & MILITARY FORCE of the India.
Educational requirements-
12th degree from a recognized board for eligibility in MILITARY FORCE,.
But you must have PHYSICS & MATHS in 12th with aggregate 60% in 12th, for eligibility for NAVAL & AIR FORCE of the India.

Through this exam, one can apply for all the branches of the Indian army, i.e. Naval , air force & military branch..

For apply in naval & air force wing, you must have subjects physics & maths in 10+2 examination with at least 60%.
For apply in army,you just needed 12th degree from a recognized board.

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,.
there is not any kind of age relaxations are applicable for any reserved category.

As per rule the candidate applying for N.D.A have there age in between 16.5-19 year.

You are eligible for N.D.A(I) But you are not eligible for N.D.A(II) in 2012.

As you mentioned that your date of birth is 28th of june 1993 then you are eligible for NDA - I , 2012 nut not eligible for NDA - II 2012 because at the time of nda - ii , Your age will be over 19 years and the age should remain in between 16.5-19 years.
