what is the starting pay of an asst. commandant in bsf?

• Eligibility for Border Security Force (BSF) post of Assistant Commandant graduate degree and candidate having NCC 'B' or 'C' certificate and achievements in sports or athletics is preferred. The entrance test is
conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The appointment for 50 per cent posts of Assistant Commandants is done by direct recruitment which also includes 10 per cent from SSCO and the rest 50 per cent is by promotion from Inspector to Assistant Commandants.
For the technical Assistant Commandant post, candidates with B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and masters in Electronics stream are selected for the Assistant Commandant (Technical) post. Age should be between 19 to 25 years and age relaxation is provided to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen.
Physical Standards
• Height : 165 cms for Males and 157 cms for Females
• Chest : 81-86 cms for Males
• Weight : 50 kgs for Males and weight is checked according to their height for Females.
• For the medical examination part, candidates with minimum distant vision of 6/6 & 6/9 for both the eyes without wearing glasses and high colour vision are selected. The candidates should not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes.

Here any candidate selected in the Physical Efficiency Test are eligible to write the test. It consists of multiple objective type questions in General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics and Analytical Aptitude.
The final selection of the candidates will be made through the written test, Physical efficiency test and interview. As per PB 3 band, AC s get salary of Rs 15600-39100.
