What is the syllabus for b.tech (ece) for CDS exam?

Syllabus for CDS exam is common for all. The exam covers topics on English, GK, and elementary mathematics. Topics like algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and statistics are included in the session of elementary mathematics. Duration for the test is 6 hours. Each session carries 100 marks.

CDS stands COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE

CDS examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate as an officer in Air force, Army and Navy.CDS Examination is conducted twice in a year as namely CDS I and CDS II .

Educational Qualifications:-

Air Force: You need to have a bachelor's degree in science with physics and mathematics. You can also get a B.Tech degree of four years' duration.

Indian Military: You need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

Naval Academy: You need to get a B.Sc degree with physics or mathematics or you can also get a B.Tech degree in Engineering.

Officer's Training Academy: You need to complete graduation in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

Yes , B-Tech ECE candidate are applicable for CDS exam . But there is no different syllabus for CDS exam for ECE departments .

Age Criteria :-

For IMA: 19-24 years
For Naval Academy: 19-22 years
For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years
For Officers Training Academy: 19-25 years

1.for air force- you should must be a graduate in science with maths, pysics and chemistry


2.for navy- same required as air force

3indian army- must be graduate in any stream

btech(ece) students are also eligible for cds there is same syllabus for all ,

indian army-19-24 yr
