BARC Exam Syllabus:-


The syllabus for the Online Test is specific to the Engineering discipline which a candidate has selected.

The questions are intended to assess the basic understanding of subjects in the area of the engineering discipline selected by the candidate.

Emphasis would be on the knowledge and problem solving ability rather than on the memory of the candidate.

Note : General English, General Knowledge, Aptitude etc are not assessed.

Maximum Age Considerations:

All applicants must be 18 – 25 yrs of age as on the last date of application form submission in order to get considered for these job positions.

Minimum Basic Academic Eligibility:

B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or AMIE/AIETE/AMIIChE with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in each part individually.

I have scored low in GATE, but am aware that BITS-PILANI has it's own entrance exam for M.Tech. admissions. I am unable to find the course of the entrance exams & am in need of assistance as to how to start the preparations.

BARC Stands for Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.

BARC is very reputed Research Centre in India. BARC is responsible for Research, manages all facets of nuclear power generation, computerized modelling and simulation, risk analysis, development and testing of new reactor fuel materials. BARC Is Giovt. Research Centre for Researching in field of Atomic and Reactors.


Eligibility:

you must complete your graduation degree in field of Engineering(B.Tech.) with minimum 60% Aggregate from recognized University. If you apply through GATE Score, then your score card must valid. GATE Scoire card validity is 5 years but BARC Only Consider for 2 years.


your age must above:

26 years for General Category.
29 years for OBC Category.
31 years for SC/ST Category.


Examination Pattern:

Exam paper is Computer Based Online Exam. Exam Paper Consist Objective type question with multiple choices. Exam Paper consist 100 questions and you have 120 Minutes for Solving question paper.


Syllabus:

Syllabus of BARC is based on your Stream in Graduation degree. if you have Mechanical in your Graduation then BARC Exam syllabus for you based on Mechanical.

Bhaba Atomic Research Centre is responsible for carrying our various research work in the filed of science and Engineering.For appearing in this exam you wll require to meet these Eligibility condition.

Educational qualification :-
~Your minimum qualification should be Intermediate/10+2 passed out from recognized board/university.
~Your subject stream should be science with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.

Age :-
~Your minimum age should be 18 years.
~Your age should not be above 22 years.

Age relaxation will be fgiven to the reserved category .
~For SC/ST Category - 5 years of age relaxations.
~For OBC Category - 3 years of age relaxations.

Total Intake - Only 46 Candidates will be selected on all Indian Ranking Basis.

Marks :-
~Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 65%.

Selection Process :-
~Written Exam.
~Personal Interview.

Exam Syllabus :-
~Chemical science - 50 Questions.
~Physics - 50 Questions.
~Mathematical science - 100 Questions.

Important :- The registration date for this year has been passed.Its exam notification basically comes in the month of January .

The questions will be asked on the topics where the candidates are pursuing in their engineering.

If the candidate is pursuing ECE then the questions will be asked from the same discipline.
