Syllabus of JE:-

1) General Intelligence and Reasoning:-
Questions on analogies, Similarities, Differences, Space visualization, Problem solving, Analysis, Judgement, Decision making, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship concepts, Arithmetical reasoning, Verbal and figure classification, Arithmetical number series etc.

2) General Awareness:-
India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research, etc.

3) General Engineering(Civil & Structural, Electrical & Mechanical).

Books for JE exam:-

1) SSC JE Mechanical Engineering 10 Solved Papers & 10 Practice Papers.

2) Junior Engineers Electrical Examination Guide: Electrical Engineering (Popular Master Guide) .
