The Syllabus, Pattern and Blue Print of M.ED entrance Exam through IGNOU.

1. Format: All objective type items (multiple choice)
2. Areas of test:

*General knowledge on educational issues: 20 marks
* Teaching aptitude and attitude: 20 marks
* Educational methodology (educational psychology, educational philosophy
and sociology, measurement and evaluation, information and communication
technology): 40 marks
* Proficiency in one language (Hindi or English): 20 marks

3. Number of test items: 100

4. Total marks: 100 (one mark per item)

5. Difficulty level: B.Ed. level

6. Duration of the test: Two hours (1.2 minutes per item)

7. Language of the test: Bilingual (Hindi and English)

8. No negative marking
