want to get a job in BSNL or BEL? What I have to do?
I am a student of Computer Science engg of IETE.

Since you are studying B.Tech in Computer Science, you are eligible for job in both the Public Sector Undertakings, BEL and BSNL. First thing you need to to is complete the B.Tech course following which you will have to wait for job ads of entrance exam by the two companies.

In order to get job in any Public Sector Undertakings in India, all candidates are required to appear in the exam conducted by the PSU. Once you pass the exam, you will be eligible for the job but it depends on your performance. Below are some details are eligibility to get job in both companies.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Since you are the student of Computer Science Engineering. First thing you need to do is complete the B.Tech with 65 percent marks and without any backlogs. This is the most important requirement for all PSU companies jobs.

Your age should be between 21 to 30 to apply in Public Sector Undertakings.

Appear in the GATE exam. It has become almost mandatory to appear in the GATE entrance exam to get job in Public Sector Undertakings. Your performance in the GATE would play a very major role. PSU companies give preference to candidates with good GATE score. If you have performed reasonably well then you might be exempt from taking part in the exam and would be called for direct interview.

The job ads are posted in the leading newspaper in India. Some examples are Times of India, Hindustan Times, Indian Express, Mumbai Mirror, The Hindu etc. You can also look into the job posts on the official website of the companies. Mainly the admission form can be downloaded from the official website of the company, else the company explains the details about obtaining the form in the jobs ad.

In BSNL you will get technical post after completing Computer Science Engineering. The other Engineering branch students that are eligible for the job in BSNL are:

EEE

ECE

Civil

Mechanical

The selection process is of 2 parts.

Part 1. Written Exam

Part 2. Interview


In BEL you are eligible for for the post of Deputy Engineer Computer Science. The maximum age to apply is 28 years for the job.

Selection process is similar to BSNL. It would be written exam followed by the Interview.
