Can I apply for Merchant navy if i wear spectacles?
my no. -3.5D
got 80% in XII non-med. i don't want to go for IGNOU b.sc is there any other option for me??

Hi friend,
To become a Merchant navy you can get a corrected eye sight with spectacles until a limit as follows. Visual Standards: 6/36, 6/36 (correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses)

Can i able to become deck cadet if my eye sight is corrected to 6/6 with spectacles from 6/9 eye sight?
