The marking system of IGNOU is as follows:

Grade A = 80%-89%
Grade B = 70%-79%
Grade C = 60%-69%
Grade D = 50%-59%
Grade E = 40%-49%
Grade F = 0-39%

Grade O = 90%-100%

I am perveiz .and i have got B grade in 2 sub c grade in 3 subjects and d grade in one subjet .Now,what is my total % age .Out of 600.

Yes you are right that instead of giving marks IGNOU gives Grade and it is har dto understand for the candidates to know about that grades The description of those grades is as follows :-

Grade A means Excellent performance and 5 Marks Equivalent to 85 % and above
Grade B means Very good and 4 marks (70-85%)
Grade C means Good and 3 marks (60-75%)
Grade D means average with 2 marks (45-60%)
Grade E means Below average with 1 marks 45% And below)
