Hello friend,

An indivudual who have passed +2 and want to pursue CA, will need to write Competency Professional Test (CPT) coducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India throughout India in the month of May and November every year. The candidate needs to register atleast ten months before the exam.

There is no standard set for the stream and percentage of marks in +2. It means that anyone from any stream could write CPT.

Candidate who have passed the CPT with an aggregate of 50% and a minimum of 40% in each paper will qualify for the Professional Competency Course (PCC).

An indivudual can register for PCC without writing CPT if He/She is a
Commerce graduates with an aggregate of 50% marks
OR
non-commerce graduates (without Maths) with an aggregate of 55%
OR
non-commerce graduates (with Maths) with an aggregate of 60%.

Along with the PCC, the candidate has to enroll for 100 hrs. of training in information and technology.

After clearing the PCC exam and completion of Computer training, candidate will need to register as an Articled clerk and go through a practical training for 3 years in a CA firm.

After completion of practical training, candidate will be eligible to write the final exam. As soon as the candidate pass the final exam, he/she will need to undergo a communication and management course to become a Chartered Accountant, a member of ICAI.

For any further information like course structure, syllabus, admission procedure etc, you may visit www.icai.org.

Hi
To become Chartered accountant you have to appear in below given exam.

Step by step you have to pass all the exams.
•CPT
•PCC
•Final Exam

Anybody who has passed 10+2 from a recognized institute can register for the course.

But if you have mathematics in Class XII will be an advantage.

I have attached one pdf file.
Please see that I hope you will get something from that file.
If you need more information on ICAI then please check their official site.

When you pass in PCE, Enrol yourself for practical training (for 3.5 years) under a qualified practicing CA, Enrol also for Final examination and appear Final examination.
After clearing final examination, join GMCS and complete it.

If cross all the above steps you can now be enrol for as a Chartered Accountant.

Hello,

To be a chartered accountant, you have to pass 10(+2), with maths as a compulsory subject.

You have to crack the exams like CPP,PCT etc conducted by ICAI or Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to be a CA.

It will be better if you complete a degree course in commerce at first, before applying for CA.
Then it will be easier to give the related exams and get a CA recognition.

Good luck!

Dear Friend
It is very good that you want to do Charted Accountant, but to get into that you will have to join The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and then appear for the CPT exam.

CPT exam stands for Common Proficiency Test.C.A generally consists of the three stages,
1.Fundamental Stage
2.Intermediate Stage,
3.Final Stage .

You will have to go through all three stages and have to pass in each stages then you will get the license from the Indian Government as an Chartered Accountant.

please try this link , it is a good link which states all the ca exam and eligibilities.

http://dget.nic.in/cirtes/csc/course...accountant.htm

or in brief you can take this as:
1. Pass the CPT entrance exam!
2. Start preparing for IPCC (exactly 9 months after CPT will be your IPCC exam)
3. Give IPCC and clear it.
4. Once you are cleared with IPCC then you start your 3 and 1/2 years articleship.
5. and you can give CA finals any time during or after the last 6 months of your articleship.
