What is the application date of NET 'june 2012'?

According to NET schedule the notification for NET exam for june should be announced in march. But till now there is no information for net exam june 2012. This is the last of month of march. So wait for few days, the announcement will be shown on ugc official site. Visit this link to know more.

The NET "june 2012" application procedure date will be started from the mid of April as the date is not yet declared.But this year the Exam will be conducted in objective mode & the The candidates are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III .

Net exam conduct by UGC every year in month of june and december.

Application form will be available in end of march on ugc website only.

Eligibility:- Post graduation in any subject with 55% from any
recognised university.

Age:- For jrf, candidate should not more then 28. There is no upper age
limit for lecturership.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing in NET Examination

a) Qualifications

Candidates belonging to the General/Other Backward Classes (OBC) who have secured at least 55% marks.Those candidates who have even secured 54.99% marks or below (even 49.99% marks or below for SC/ST & PH/VH candidates) in Master's Degree or equivalent Examination are NOT eligible for this Test. THERE IS NO PROVISION OF ROUNDING OFF OF MARKS TO MAKE IT 55% (50% FOR SC/ST and PH/VH).
Age:-
There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing only for eligibility for lectureship

The UGC-NET will be conducted in objective mode from June 2012 onwards. The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on the day of Examination in two separate sessions

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

Hello friend.

NET(National eligibility Test) is a common test conducted in written mode to determine the eligibility of Indian national candidates for the award of junior research fellowships(JRF) and the eligibility for appointment of lecturers in certain subjects.

NET exam is conducted by UGC twice in a year i.e in month of JUNE and DECEMBER and the notification of examinations are published in the month of MARCH and SEPTEMBER respectively in employment news.

Eligibility

-Candidate must have completed post graduation in the desired subject. He should secure 55% in masters degree from any reputed college under UGC recognition.

- Maximum age limit is 35 years and and relaxation age for OBC is 3 years and SC/ST candidates is 5 years

Procedure to apply
-
Candidates can get their application forms at the notified banks for payment of 400/- (General Category) and 200/- (OBC category) and 100/- ( SC,ST,PH,VH)

-Last date of receipt of application form is March 26, 2012
Date of examination is June 17,2012

Can someone please confirm that this is correct? I checked the UGC website today and there is no intimation about these dates...the only dates under the 'important dates' section are of last year's exam... I want to appear for NET in June..so I am a bit concerned..

Hello,

I am Sorry to Admit this But You see these dates are only projected dates, after comparing the Last years and the Previous years Time Table!

You can Expect a Slight Variation in the Dates, But One can Atleast have a Ruff Idea About the upcoming Dates and Prepare Well Ryt?

Although The Dates have not been Declared Officially, These can Prove to be a Event Reminder.

So, Please Kindly Keep in mind that These are not the Confirmed Dates, But only Predicted ones..
