The exact dates are not yet notified by SBI and IBPS. There is no specific pattern for bank exam dates. Usually, the banks conduct the test based on the vacancies. The notification regarding the clerical exam for both the banks will be released online at their official websites. The same will be published offline in the Employment Newspaper too. To appear for the exams, the minimum qualification required is 10th with at least 60% marks.

For this academic year both SBI Clerical Exam and IBPS Clerical Exam was over. Later on, there were notifcations at all regaring the recruitment of Clerks by SBI and for IBPS Clerical Exam also.

This year SBI Clerk Exam was conducted on 2 different dates of
16-01-2011
23-01-2011.

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. IBPS is conducting Common Written Exam for the recruitment of Clerks for 19 public sector banks. SBI and SBI Associate Banks will not come under this category.

For this academic year, IBPS Exam was conducted on 3 different dates of
27-11-2011
04-12-2011
11-12-2011

Hope SBI is going to come up with the notification for the recruitment of Clerks in the early months of upcoming year.

Anyway, IBPS will conduct common written exam for the recruitment of clerks in another 6 months.

The selection procedure for Clerical positions is by
-Written Exam
-Interview.

Have good preparation to these exams and crack the same. There is much competition for bank jobs in the current scenario. So, have strong preparation to the exams.

DETAILS OF BANK CLERK EXAM

IBPS exam is conduct for BANK CLERK for 19 banks .

Only those candidate have completed 10th are eligible for IBPS CLERK exam.

Your 10th marks must be above 60% then you are eligible for IBPS CLERK exam.

OR

Those candidate have completed 12th with above 50% are eligible for IBPS CLERICAL exam.

Also all candidate age must be in between 18 to 28 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

Those are belongs from Indian ,Nepalis, Bhutanese and Tibetan eligible.

EXAMINATION PATTERN

Try to solve your problem in some shortcut process.because for IBPS exam their is less time to complete the paper.

Hi,

The SBI bank clerk exam got over in the month of October. The next again SBI is going to announce for PO a d clerk post in the next month. You can check and apply for it online and start your exam preparations. The IBPS clerk exam is in the next month. Last month if you have registered online then you can appear for this online exam. If not wait for next notification and then apply for the exam. Meantime you can refer R SAgarwal or M Laxmikanth or S Chand or Kiran CWE book then solve previous question papers and practise more then it will be easier to crack the exam.

Hi

As you would well know that IBPS - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is an organization which selects candidates for the various banking recruitment's all around the country. It conducts this on behalf of 20 banks now EXCLUDING SBI. SBI is separate and it conducts exams for all its posts on its own. Thus these two are the best possible entries in the Banking Sector.

There are 3 positions in which a candidate can enter the banking sector. They are :
Clerical
Probationary Officer and lastly
Specialist Officers against vacancies.

Now if you wish to apply for the clerical position, I am afraid the Notifications for the 2012 year is over. They have been concluded and so now you have to wait for the notification of the 2013 year.

Its a news that this year SBI would recruit around 19000 clerks from all over the country and 1000 PO! So its a very good opportunity for all those who wish to start their careers with the Banking Sector...

SBI & IBPS Clerical Examination notification not yet declared ... But IBPS Clerical will be expect in the month of October or November and SBI Clerical exam notification will be expect in the month of March or April in the official website .

Both the application forms are available in the only online mode application and there is no offline application for this examination ,

SBI is not comes under the IBPS Examination and SBI conducts it is own and following their own guidelines for the examination .

SBI Eligibility Criteria ::

-You must have a completed graduate degree OR intermediate in any discipline .
-If you are completed 12th examination and must have attained 60% marks .
-Final year of 12th exam may also eligible .
-You must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 28 years .
-Upper age limits is applicable .
-You must have a good fluency in your local languages .
-You must have a good knowledge in computers .

IBPS Eligibility Criteria ::

-You must have a completed graduate degree in any discipline .
-No percentage bar for IBPS Clerical examination .
-Final year of degree candidates are not eligible .
-You must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 28 years .
-Upper age limits is applicable .
-You must have a certificate in diploma / graduate degree of computers .
-You must have a good fluency in your local languages .
-You must have a good knowledge in computers .
