Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

2)Personal Interview.

EXAM DATE FOR NDA EXAM:-

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date to receive completed application forms : 30-01-2012
Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012

Hello friend,
The upcoming NDA exam is supposed to be conducted on 15-04-2012.
The application forms for the same will be available at post offices and head post offices from 31-12-2011.
The application forms will also be available online from the given date.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy examination and is conducted twice a year by UPSC(Union Public Service Comission) .

Important Dates about NDA-I(2012)

Date of Notification - 31st December 2011

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS - 30.01.2012(MONDAY)

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM - 15.04.2012(SUNDAY)

DURATION OF EXAM.- 1 DAY


The Notification will be published in the official website of Upsc that is http://www.upsc.gov.in and Employement news on 31st December 2011 .So please check the notification on that day for complete information .

Availability of Application forms for NDA

The NDA (National Defence Academy takes place once in April and once in August..

For the NDA (1) exam of 2012 which is going to be conducted on 15th April,2012..the forms shall be available in the market from 30th December,2011 and the last date of submission of the filled up forms is 30th January,2012..

Only those candidates are eligible for appearing in the NDA who fulfill the following minimum criterion :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths in your 12th if you want to join Indian Navy or Indian Air Force)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

Other than these qualifications..you should also have a good physical health and should have a perfect eyesight..

The exam shall mainly test you on :-
General Knowledge
Elementary Maths
English

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, the exam for this is coducted twice every year by UPSC to join India Army, Navy and Air Force wing.

The notification for NDA-I will be declared shortly on 31st December 2011 and the application form will be available in Post offices and also on line till 30th January 2012 followed by date of examination on 15th April 2012. For further information be updated with the official web site of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in
