I was planing to take admission in B.Sc Agriculture. However, I heard that it is compulsory to appear for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST - NEET entrance exam in order to get admission in good colleges. Is it really compulsory to appear for this exam?

No, it's not a necessity to appear in NEET entrance exam for pursuing B.Sc Agriculture. NEET examination organised by CBSE for students who want to pursue M.B.B.S or B.D.S after their senior secondary. B.Sc Agriculture is a different course which doesn't come under NEET. Admission to this degree is generally done on basis of the entrance test or your aggregate percentage in senior secondary or both. NEET allows students of Medical Stream with Bio as a major subject.
