I'm having a tattoo on my wrist. Is it allowed for DSP Government job? Actually it is at front open point and not anywhere in hidden place.

Re: Whether having a tattoo on wrist allowed for government jobs or not?
Yes, tattoo is allowed in some government job but in many jobs it is prohibited.
Tattoo is prohibited In Jobs like IAS, IPS, IFS, Indian defence service, army, Navy and Airforce. Tattoo is allowed in some government jobs like Clerk and provisionary officers in banks, Engineering services, PWD department. If your tattoo is clearly seen to the interviewer at the time of interview then it cause a negative impact on his or her mind. So my suggestion to you is that if your tattoo is temporary then you should go for removal of tattoo. |

Only in a Military Academy and Police Academy candidates with tattoos are not allowed.
In other fields tattoo is not objectionable. So you do not have to worry if you have a tattoo on your wrist. It will not create any problem in getting Jobs in railway sector. |
