I have a tattoo on my wrist and want to know that am I eligible for SSC (CGL) exam and in Delhi police exam as well? Let me know that.

1. If you have a permanent tattoo on your body can't be declared as unfit so, you can apply for the post if you fulfill the below criteria:

Eligibility criteria for SSC CGL:
- Citizen of India.
- The age limit differs depending on the post and age relaxation is also there for different caste.
For Assistant section officer - 20-30 years
Intelligence assistant post - 21-27 years
Inspector of various departments - 20-30 years
Assistant audit officer - below 30 years
Statistical investigators - below 32 years
Sub-inspector - 18-25 years.

Educational qualification:
The educational qualification also varies based on the post
- Assistant audit - Bachelors degree from recognized university.
- Statistical investigators - Bachelors degree with minimum 60% from any recognized university.
- For all other posts - Bachelors degree from any recognized university.

- You should be meet the physical standards required for the post you are applying.

2. You are eligible for the Delhi police exam because there are no such rules having a permanent tattoo on body.

Yes, you are eligible for SSC CGL examination. There is no problem if you have a tattoo on your wrist but you can't apply for armed force services. Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized university are eligible for this exam. Thanks
