Candidates, who have pursued Masters degree program through distance mode of learning will be considered eligible provided the university is recognized either by state or by central government.
The minimum percentage of marks required in the masters degree program is 55% for candidates belonging to general and OBC category and 50% for candidates belonging to Sc/St category.
The National Eligibility Test for Lectureship, NET is conducted twice a year by university Grant Commission and if you possess all the qualifications mentioned above, you may definitely take the test.
