I am done my pg in Economics with 58℅.
can I do net exam?
If eligible what all subjects I need to prepare
for getting success in the exam?

You have completed masters degree exam with above 58% marks in Economics subject so you are eligible for UGC NET exam. Your UGC NET exam subject is Economics.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Age criteria for NET exam:-

For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years.

For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.

I am a student of I.G.N.O.U. I am doing my post graduation in economics 2nd year..I get 55% marks in 1st year...Bt i am a pass graduate...can I eligible for net xam before complete my post graduation?????
