NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happened twice time in a year. Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.Your masters degree marks must be above 55% , for SC/ST candidate this marks is 50%. Age criteria for NET Exam=> For JRF:- Maximum age limit is 28 years old. For PHD/Lectureship:- No age limit From this year NET exam pattern should be change and the pattern may be this type.All three papers are objective type.The paper III is changed to subjective to Objective. For Paper III => It has 75 question.All Question are compulsory . Total marks of this paper is 150 marks.The time duration for this session is 2½ Hours (01.30 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.) Each Question contain 2 marks. There is no negative marking in Paper III also Paper I and Paper II have not any negative marking. The notification for NET exam will be published very soon.It will be published in the month of October 2012. For more details about UGC exam you can visit to http://www.ugc.ac.in/ . |

There wont be any negative marking for the UGC NET examination under the new revised system of objective type questions
