please tell me whether there will be descriptive question for english section?if yes then tell me the marks and no. of question

You have not mentioned the exam that you are appearing for. For most of the competitive exam like bank PO there will be a section on the descriptive type answers. There will be one question which will be from the English area. Normally it will be a comprehension or essay writing or a letter writing type of question. You can refer to the past paper to know about the type of questions asked in this section.
