IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for IBPS Clerk exam.

Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for IBPS clerk exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

SC/ST ==> 5 years .
OBC ==> 3 years .
PWD ==> 10 years .
Ex-Servicemen ==> 5 years .
Widows ==> 9 years .

Since you have just passed 12th class, I am really sorry to say that you are NOT eligible to apply for IBPS Examinations.

Remember, there is no particular percentage criteria to be eligible for IBPS Examinations. The basic educational qualification is "Candidates must have passed Graduation or its equivalent Exam" from a recognized university. So I suggest you to pursue Graduation in order to be eligible for not only IBPS Examinations but also for any kind of banking examinations.

No,you are not eligible to apply for IBPS exam. Because ,the minimum eligibility to apply for IBPS recruitment is graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.
So, the first thing to do is that you should complete your graduation degree.

The age limit for clerk is in between 18 to 28 years for general category.There is relaxation in upper age limit for OBC by 3 years and for SC/ST,it is 5 years.

The age limit for the post of bank P.O. is in between 21 to 30 years for general category and the relaxation in upper age limit is same as for the post of bank clerk.

No dear you are not eligible to apply for IBPS Examination with 12th as your qualification. If you are interested to give a IBPS Examination then you must complete the graduation first. Otherwise you are not eligible to apply for the Bank examinations.

From the past couple of years this type of educational requirement has been introduced. So you must be a graduate from the recognized university of any stream. Besides this you should be satisfied the eligibility criteria for IBPS Examinations.

Through IBPS you can give a exams like IBPS Clerk,PO/MT's and SO etc.,And also from this year onwards the pattern of the examination is also been changed.

It is good to see that you are serious towards banking sector just after completing the Intermediate examination. There are lots of job opportunity comes every year in the banking sector, but to get the job in the banking sector is not an easy task. To get Public sector job, you have to crack the entrance examination conducted by IBPS.

Now, IBPS conducting two tier written examination from this year onwards and it's very tough for aspirants to crack banking examination. Those who cracks both the stages are eligible for Final Interview. If your aim is to get a job in the banking sector, then better to prepare well for the entrance examination just after the 12th exam. You have lots of time to prepare well for IBPS Common written examination.

To apply for IBPS CWE (Common written examination), you need graduation degree. As graduation is the minimum qualification required to register for IBPS Examination. If you are really interested, then please complete your graduation first. You can appear for IBPS Clerical and IBPS PO / IBPS SO / IBPS RRB only after passing the Bachelor degree course.

Minimum age required to apply for IBPS Examination is 20 years.

The pattern of IBPS include, General Awareness, Computer aptitude, English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. In Reasoning, you will get questions from Syllogism, Input/Output, Blood relation, Circle based puzzle, etc. In maths you will get questions from Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Problem of Ages, Problem of Trains, Boats & streams, Average, profit & loss, Percentage, Data Interpretation etc.

You will get 200 questions in IBPS examination with a duration of 2 hours. The examination is objective with negative marking. You have to clear each one of the sections individually. Those who clear the entrance test is eligible for Interview.

IBPS NEW PATTERN:

From this year onwards, IBPS is going to be conducted two tier examination i.e. Preliminary and Mains.

Preliminary examination will be shorter in duration and only qualifying nature. The marks of the preliminary examination is not included to prepare the final merit list. Few candidates will be eligible to appear for Mains. If you have cracked the preliminary examination, only then you are eligible for Mains.

Sorry to say but 10+2 candidates are not eligible to apply for the Institute of Banking and Personal Selection Common Written Exam conducted for Clerk and Probationary officer post as the minimum qualification required is :

~~Bachelor's degree in any stream or discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can apply for the exam.

Minimum age limit is 20 years. For clerk upper age limit is 28 years and for Probationary officer post, it is 30 years.

From this year, there is change in examination pattern:

1. IBPS Preliminary exam.

2. IBPS Mains.

As you are in 10+2, you can start working for Aptitude, English, General awareness for better preparation for IBPS entrance exam after graduation.

I have completed my graduation with 68% marks but my 12th marks was not so good I got 56% ..am I eligible to apply for SBI po nd IBPS PO exam
