Am I eligible to get government job after completion of M.Sc Chemistry?

I am a student of M.Sc Chemistry, took specialisation in in organic chemistry... apart from NET & GATE, is there any UPSC jobs for me for which I am eligible? Can you please provide me the details on this? What should be the procedure I need to follow?

On the basis of M.Sc degree you mostly have opportunities in research and academics field only. If you are looking for other kind of jobs, then M.Sc is not the minimum requirement, for them only B.Sc degree will do.

For UPSC civil services exam, you just need a degree and M.Sc will not give you any advantage. Selection will be based on the performance in written exam and interview. You can also apply for others exams like SSC CGL, SSC CPO SI, SSC FCI, UPSC forest services exam etc.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
