To get government job, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility requirements.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidates age should be in the range of 21-33 years.

* Age relaxation is applicable as per norms.

* Candidate should complete bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university or institution.

For applying to the government job, the candidate has to wait for the release of the notification by the government regarding the vacancies in the particular government department. Candidates can know about the updates of the vacancies through media etc.

The candidate should apply for the entrance exam through online/ offline mode. They should register their personal, qualification details after which he/ she should pay the application fee through online/ offline mode. After the payment of the fees, then the candidate should fill the application form and then submit it through online mode.

For the preparation to the government jobs, the candidate can refer to the below mentioned books :

* For Current Affairs - Current Affairs by S.N. Jha.

* For Aptitude - R S Agarwal.

* For Mathematics and other basic sections - Arihant Publications.

* For Verbal reasoning - R S Agarwal.

However, it's not about the caste for getting the job in government sectors. There is good scope for OC candidates in the public sector organizations. As the number of vacancies for the OC candidates are less, you have to work very hard in order to get the job in public sector.
