I am doing B.Sc(Computer Science) in final year now. Can I apply for Federal Bank Specialist Officer written exam? Am I eligible for that?

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for Federal Bank Specialist Officer Exam:

No, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for Federal Bank Specialist officer Recruitment Examination. Generally Federal Bank invites application for the post of Specialist Officer in Law and Information Technology disciplines. Here is the minimum educational qualification required for IT Officer (Scale I) post.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

(*) Candidates must have completed MCA/ B.Tech/ B.E/ M.Sc in Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics and Communication or M.Tech only are eligible to apply for Federal Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment Exam.

(*) Candidates must have completed any one of the above mentioned educational qualification with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.

(*) Maximum age must not exceed 28 years of age in order to be eligible.

Note: I suggest you to pursue M.Sc in Computer Science in order to be eligible for Federal Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment Examination.

No, after completion of B.Sc in Computer Science, you are not eligible for Federal Bank Specialist Officer written exam.

Those candidates who have completed MCA / BE / B.Tech /M.Tech / M.Sc in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university/ Institution are eligible for Federal Bank Specialist Officer written exam.

Your age should be below 28 years.

Candidates should have minimum 2 years experience in Software development or Networking field.
