The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for this IGCAR Kalpakkam Stipendiary Trainee recruitment is given below.

There are two categories and they are,

>> Stipendiary Trainee Category I

>> Stipendiary Trainee Category II

Educational qualification required generally varies from category to category. Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc in Chemistry or Physics with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.

Minimum eligibility criteria to apply for Stipendiary Trainee in IGCAR 2018 : There are two types of Stipendiary Trainee posts available in this recruitment which are Category I and Category II and eligibility for both categories is different which is :

Stipendiary Trainee Category I : There are five streams of engineering in which candidates should have a diploma in engineering with specialisation in that particular subject and must have secured minimum 60% marks from a reputed university.

For chemistry and physics stream, candidate should have passed bachelor's degree/B.Sc in chemistry and physics from a recognised board or university and must have secured 60% marks in degree.

Stipendiary Trainee Category II - There are following posts under this category and required eligibility is different :

Plant Operator - Candidate must have passed SSC with Scinece and Mathematics with 60% marks and should have completed one year ITI trade certificate in Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) trade or

Should have passed Higher Secondary with minimum 60% marks with Physics and Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board.

For Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Welder, Mechanical Machine Tool Maintenance, Instrument Mechanic, Fitter, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Refrigeration and AC Mechanic and Machinist post :

Candidate must have completed SSC with minimum 60% marks with science and mathematics or

Minimum 60% marks in HSC with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and

ITI trade certificate of minimum 1 year duration in relevant subject of which vacancies are open from a reputed institute/university.

Lab Assistant : Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary School Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as compulsory subjects.

Age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 24 years for Category I and 22 years for Category II and relaxation in upper age as per government rules which is 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

For Category II:

• Candidate must have passed SSC examination witn mathematics and Science as main subjects with at least 60% marks.
• Candidate must posses ITI Certificate of 1 year in relevant trade.
• Age of candidate must be between 18 to 22 years as on 17th June 2018.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for IGCAR Kalpakkam Stipendiary Trainee recruitment 2018 is mentioned below :-

1. Educational Qualification :-
--> For Group-B posts :- You should have passed Diploma in Engineering in concerned stream with minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognised institute.

--> For Group-C posts :- You should have passed HSC in Science stream with minimum aggregate of 60% aggregate marks from a recognised university.

2. Age Limit :-
--> For Group-B posts :- 18 to 24 years
--> For Group-C posts :- 18 to 22 years

Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
