What's the eligibility criteria for the post of lecturer in Government Polytechnic college? What's the applying procedure?


i have compelted B.Tech applied electronics and instrumentation
what is procedure to apply for job of lecture in government Polytechnic college?
i have any oppurtunity ?
what are the applicable post in my stream?

You have to clear CSIR NET for getting a lecturer job in a Government polytechnic. B.Tech holders with 60% marks are eligible to apply for CSIR NET. Hence, if you have this percentage in you B.Tech degree, then you can surely apply for CSIR NET. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong reserved category.

You can apply for Engineering Sciences subject in CSIR NET. After clearing CSIR NET, you will be eligible for government lecturer jobs. You can apply for lecturer post in various Diploma colleges/institute on the basis of your NET scorecard.

To join as lecturer in Polytechnic the candidate has to apply for the NET entrance exam which is conducted by the UGC department . NET(National Eligibility Test) entrance exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December .

The eligibility criteria for the NET exam are as under :-

-The candidate must have passed the master degree with at least 55% marks from any recognized university.

-The candidate age must be below 35 years.There is age relaxation as per gov. rules for reserved categories.

-The candidate must be an Indian .

The selection process involves of

* Written exam , and

* Interview .

The written test is conducted for two papers.

Paper I is for General Studies and Mental Ability of 150 marks .

Paper II is for core subjects in B.E of 300 marks .

I have completed MA English(open university),Bed also
so am eligible / diseligible for English lecturer in polytechnic college.
