Can someone tell me whether Group Discussion will be there for IBPS Clerk Interview? Also,do I need to prepare Banking terms or G A for the Interview?

No, Group Discussion (GD) round is not available in IBPS Clerk Interview. There are only two rounds available to get selected and the rounds are, IBPS Clerk Online Test and IBPS Clerk Interview. Candidates whoever successfully clear "IBPS Clerk Online Test" shall be called for Interview and not for Group Discussion Round.

>> IBPS Online Test

>> IBPS Clerk Interview

>> NO Group Discussion Round

Yes, you need to prepare Banking Terms or General Awareness Sections once again when you attend IBPS Clerk Interview. You must have known the regional language of your's. For instance, if your proper is Karnataka then you must have known the "Kannada" language. You may be asked to write a short essay on any given topic in your regional language. Besides these you are required to prepare General Awareness section also, as there is a possibility and prepare very well about "Tell me about yourself" which is the very question which is being asked often.

In interview you dont have group discussion. It is completely personal interview conducted by higher officers in the government banking sector of india.
You should know completely about tally. Interview will be based on the banking sector.

There is no Group Discussion conducted for IBPS Clerk examination. Normally, the selection process for the IBPS Clerk exam is divided into,

1. Common Written Exam (CWE)
2. Common Interview

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection which conducts many Bank exams Like Bank Clerical & Bank Po in which there are many banks which are merged in this exams.

The eligibility criteria for Bank clerical exams are :

The candidates should be a 10+2 pass from a recognize board.or
The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
The age limit is 18 - 28 years.There is a age relaxation for reserved candidates.

After the examination you are going to provide a rank card which is valid for one years in between that according to vacancy the banks will select the candidates , & they used to do their own examination like written test , GD , PI.
