Re: How to become an IAS Officer being an Arts student with History Honours?
To be come Indian Administrative Service Officer you must face Civil Service Exam which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. A candidate can apply for this exam only when he/she complete graduation from a recognized university in any faculty. Age must be between 21 years to 32 years. There are exams which you must clear with good marks. First go through Preliminary test, if clear that have to face written exam & last is interview. I would suggest you to buy employment news this paper will give you all the details related to government jobs. Below I have attached UPSC Civil Service Exam notification for your reference.
