Re: How to become an Indian Foreign Services Officer after 12th(PCM)?
You can join foreign service through following two ways in India only :
01. UPSC IAS examination : UPSC conduct this IAS examination in which you have to prefer IFS - Indian Foreign Service and top the examination by qualifying all the stages and securing higher marks then you can easily be selected for the job in IFS as an IFS Officer. After your final selection, you will be trained for more than 03 years at various countries then posted in India first then neighbouring counties for training then other foreign countries. You can also join foreign service through SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination by preferring External Affairs Services so just qualify prelims, mains and interview of this exam also and get the job. Now you have to complete your graduation course and enhance your knowledge of mathematics, english and General Awareness then you will be able to qualify these exams and will definitely get the job. |
